Grafted Peyote (Lophophora Williamsii)
This is really a hybrid of two cacti: an Eriocereus jusbertii with a Grafted Peyote (Lophophora Williamsii) cluster grafted on top. Grafting increases the growth rate of the generally slow-growing Lophophora williamsii; a minor disadvantage is a little decreased generation of mescaline, but the higher growth rate compensates.

With careful care, numerous more knobs will sprout on the sides and top. When in bloom, this shrub produces lovely pink blooms. If the cluster of knobs becomes too large, take some of the smaller ones and root them in a different pot.
The alkaloid Mescaline found in the tissue of this cactus is the most intriguing portion for psychonauts. Peyote has been utilised for spiritual reasons by Native North Americans for at least 5,500 years.
